ON ICE PRACTICE

LEDNA DVORANA ICE SKATING HALL

PT Hockey camp with Jan Muršak will take place in  Ledna dvorana Ice Skating Hall. A covered and closed artificial ice skating rink is the place where Maribor’s hockey and ice stock sport players train and compete.

Alongside recreation and “disco skating” many other club and school activities take place at the rink. The Maribor – Lisjaki ice hockey club (HDK Maribor – Lisjaki) has been working successfully in Ledna dvorana for many years and both their women and men teams belong to the very top of Slovenian ice hockey. 

Events hosted by Ledna dvorana Ice Skating Hall:

  • 2nd Division European Ice Hockey Championship in 2013;
  • 2nd Division World Junior Ice Hockey Championship in 2014;
  • Slovenian First Ice Hockey League;
  • International brother’s Hiti Ice Hockey Camp;
  • European and world ice hockey championships;
  • Training camps: Slovenian national hockey team 2013, KHL Medveščak Zagreb 2013, Spartak Moscow 2013 and 2015, Vityaz Podolsk 2013, Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod  2013, 2014 and 2016, Traktor Chelyabinsk 2019.

TABOR SPORTS PARK

Tabor Sports Park is one of the most beautiful and biggest sport parks in Slovenia. It is known as one of the best-maintained parks. Its numerous green areas and halls offer clubs and associations from Maribor the best possible conditions for the development of professional sport and recreation.

The complex is comprised of three halls: the Tabor Sports Hall, the ŽŠD Hall with two basketball or six badminton courts and a tennis hall with three courts. The outdoor complex comprises: a volleyball court; outdoor fitness; two basketball courts; a handball and a five-a-side football court; three large turf football fields; the main football field with a stand; the Poljane Athletics Stadium; and 12 well-maintained tennis courts.
