JAN MURŠAK

Jan Muršak (born January 20, 1988) is a professional Slovenian ice hockey forward currently playing for SC Bern in Swiss National League (NLA). Muršak first played hockey in Slovenia as a member of HDK Maribor before he left to spend one season in the Czech junior league. He was then selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and he made his NHL career debut on December 28, 2010 in a game against the Colorado Avalanche, thus becoming the second Slovenian, after Anže Kopitar of the Los Angeles Kings, to play in the NHL.

In 2013 Jan Muršak moved to the KHL where he played four seasons for legendary team CSKA Moscow and after that he signed for Frolunda in Swedish Hockey League (SHL) and there is where he meet Andreas Larsson from Hockey PT.

Hockey PT coached their first professional hockey player in 1995, Calgary, Canada, and the concept of Hockey PT was born. Since then their coaching experience has grown and developed and today they work with players from all over the world. Their coaches have a background in professional speed skating and also as professional hockey players and this is what makes hockey pt unique. Over the years they have combined and used their exclusive knowledge in speed skating and hockey skill to create on and off ice training for hockey players and some of the top players in NHL consult Hockey PT as personal trainers year-round.

Founder of Hockey PT

Andreas Larsson

Andreas Larsson is a personal trainer since 1995. He was head coach of Swedish national speedskating team and he worked as the Head Coach for the Swedish speedskating national team in the 2010 Olympic games.

He is a former speed skater and Swedish record holder in 100m skating (9,84 sec).

Training in ice hockey:

  • Powerskating and off ice coach for Rogle (SHL), Lugano (NLA), Lausanne (NLA), Frolunda (SHL).
  • Besides team contracts Andreas has been personal trainer for around 30 NHL players over the years where he plan all training on and off-ice.
  • 23 years as a coach.

Former ice hockey player

Pierre Johnsson

Pierre is a former professional ice hockey player. He played 276 SHL games for Frolunda, Mora and Lulea. As a junior he played at the World Junior championship and got drafted by Calgary Flames.

Between 2013-2019 he was head coach for Frolundas J18 and J20 team.

Elin Hallberg

Elin is a former figure skater with one gold medal at the swedish championships. She has been working as a powerskating coach at Frolundas academy for 2 years.
